We Must Do Better! šŸ’“

The world has changed SO MUCH in the last 20 years. šŸŒŽ Our kids are living a much different life than we did. In my opinion, kids are living a much tougher life mentally & physically. People are sicker. Diseases are running rampant. Everyone is anxious or depressed or both. What gives!? 😰


The Foods We Eat


Look at the foods we eat… The junk hormones and antibiotics that are pumped into the meat we eat. šŸ“ The sugar and salt content that’s exploding in every meal. The sweeteners and dyes. The nutritional content of our fruits and veggies are a FRACTION of what they contained 50 years ago. Most have been genetically modified and contaminated on their journey across the country. Most drinks contain more sugar than water! šŸ¹


If you don’t believe me try watching Food Inc., Forks Over Knives, or Fed Up. šŸ‘€ And there’s plenty more where that came from! The reality of our food in this country is absolutely frightening. Most other countries don’t eat like us. Not the poorer countries, but I’m talking countries like the UK. Where these chemicals and dyes are BANNED because of how harmful they are! 😳


Big Pharma


Don’t get me started on medications. šŸ™ƒ I am not anti-medicine by any means. There is a time for medications and I’m SO thankful for modern medicine but Big Pharma has taken advantage. They have flipped ā€œhealth careā€ into ā€œsick careā€. Disease & Illness 🦠 are EXPENSIVE and make a lot of money. Doctors have quotas and get kickbacks. How is that ethical!?


There was a time when healthcare was about finding the root cause of the problem and figuring out how to turn it around, not just mask it. 🩹 There was a time when Doctors understood the importance of nutrition and how our bodies are designed to know what to do if given the right fuel. Food is medicine. *Correction: Nutritious Food is Medicine šŸŽ


Again some medications are absolutely necessary. Some bodies don’t work exactly how they’re supposed to or might be missing something. This isn’t that! 🚫


I’m talking when your blood pressure is a bit elevated or you’re having trouble sleeping. Do we just take the medicine and except our fate? Or do we try researching what food might help and what foods make it worse? Do we try getting more active or more sleep? Do we try working on our mental health by getting to know yourself and surrounding yourself with positivity. All of these things can help heal instead of mask.


Our Sick Care System


Did you know that Doctors AVERAGE LESS THAN 20 Hours Nutrition Teaching while in school!? 🤯 8 YEARS to become a doctor and less than 20 hours on nutrition when that’s literally the whole basis of how our bodies work! How does that make sense!? šŸ¤”


Doctors used to have compassion and the understanding of nutrition. Now they throw a prescription at you and wait til you come back for something else, that is probably a side effect of the first medication. šŸ’Š Throw another pill at it. More side effects. It’s a vicious cycle. How do you get off!?


Did you know after THREE medications it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to know what the side effects could be? 😬 And what’s even worse? Among those who take medications in America, the average number of medications they take is 4. We have to do betterā—ļø


So Many Jabs


Vaccines. šŸ’‰ This is a touchy subject. Again I am not anti-vaccine. BUT I think every single person should know the exact pros and cons and risks, etc. Doctors should have to explain all options not opinions. People should be educated to research for themselves.


In the late 1970s there were 3 recommended vaccines. Now… in 2022 there are over 50 doses recommended and let’s not forget to add all the new Covid shots. That’s a lot of foreign fluid entering our bodies and at so young when still developing? 🄺 I’m just not so sure! At what point do we say it’s too much and has to be causing damage!? šŸ™…šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø


Modern School


How about schools? šŸ« When I was in school, we learned facts. I didn’t know who my teacher voted for or if they were republican or democrat. We learned the differences between the parties, we learned how government works, āš–ļø and we were given the opportunity to grow and learn, for ourselves and through our experiences, where our views aligned.


Now kids are forced opinions down their throats. They’re not learning the facts. They’re learning who their teacher votes for and why they hate the other party. šŸ˜‘ Why do our kids know who their MATH teacher voted for!? Opinions are not meant for schools and we’re just confusing these poor kids instead of giving them the ability to grow with the knowledge of how the world works. It’s not the teachers job to shape the opinions of young minds. It’s their job to teach them the facts and tools so they can form their own opinion. How boring would life be if we all thought exactly the same?


Customer Service


Doctors used to make house calls. The customer used to always be right. People used to have manners and empathy and compassion. Not anymore. You get attitude just by simply needing an employee to do their job. šŸ™„ Everyone is in a hurry. BE THE CHANGE. Try to walk around with a smile. Try complimenting those who are doing good instead of complaining about those doing bad.


Obviously everyone isn’t like this. There are still good doctors. There are still people with manners and empathy. There’s still good Customer Service out there. 😁 BUT we’re going to put out what we take in. You’re going to notice all the negatives, when you’re already in a negative state. But when you surround yourself with positivity, you notice all the positivity. You put out positivity and you can change someone’s whole day with a smile or a couple kind words. 🄰 Being kind isn’t hard or expensive. But it takes effort.


In Our Face Media


Another huge difference is the media that is pumped into our brains 24/7. Internet changed everything. Now anything and everything is at our fingertips. It’s truly amazing to think the power we hold in just our cell phones. šŸ“± You can know pretty much anything in a matter of seconds. But with power comes responsibility. And we have failed.


We have become arrogant and lazy. We have become brave bullies behind a screen. The news is only filled all the negative things happening in the world. šŸ—ž Instead of praising people and businesses we’re so much quicker to complain and shame others. What do you think happens when all we put into our minds is negative in nature. How are you supposed to feel goodā“


We have to be VERY careful how much time we are spending, letting that negativity inside of us. It is draining. 😰 It takes a toll on your mental and physical health. We can’t avoid it. It’s all around us. BUT we HAVE to be conscious of what is going in, and how much, if we want to feel better. We HAVE to be conscious of what we are putting out into the world. Are we adding positivity or contributing to the negativity? Trust me… Positivity feels MUCH better! 😌


Current Affairs


How about the current state our country is in??? We have never been so divided as Americans. šŸ’” We have never fought like this. We didn’t used to talk to other human beings like this. We are CLEARLY on a fast path to destroying humanity. We are all sinful in nature but where has the common decency disappeared to?


I can’t imagine how confusing it must be for a child in these current times. 🄺 Childhood and teenage years were hard enough without all this negativity in the world. How will children grow and develop into healthy, happy, successful adults with all these current stressors influencing and shaping who they will become. Kids have too much on their plates and adults aren’t any different.


We Have to Be the Change!


It all comes down to what you put in, is what you’re going to put out. If you’re not eating right, then don’t expect your body to have the proper fuel to run properly. If you haven’t tried eating better, exercising, & working on your inner self, how do you know your body can’t heal itself and work better, if in the right environment? If you want a positive life, you can’t fill it with constant negativity. Don’t you want the most out of this life? 🤩


There has to be change. If we stop buying the junk food, they’ll stop making it. If we smile at the grumpy cashier, maybe it will brighten their day and cause a chain reaction of smiles. 😃 If we surround ourselves with positivity, we’re going to get a whole lot of that back.



You owe it to yourself! šŸ‘†šŸ¼ It’s time to live your life to the fullest. We get ONE BODY. One life on this earth. Why waste it!? Why fill it with negativity, sickness, and despair? ENJOY life! Start Now. Be the change! 🌟
